Awazon Market First Order Checklist
Verify the vendor profile
Before placing any order, check the vendor's feedback score and history. Look for a rating above 95 percent. Read recent reviews from the last month. Ignore older comments. Payment behavior changes. Check if the vendor has a verified badge or a long-standing account age. New vendors with zero feedback are risky for large purchases. Start with a small item if trying someone new. Compare prices with similar vendors. If the price is significantly lower, investigate why. It could be a scam or a clearance sale. Trust your gut if something feels off.
Confirm shipping regions
Read the shipping policy section carefully. Not all vendors ship everywhere. Some exclude specific countries due to postal restrictions. Check the delivery time estimates. If it says five to ten days, assume ten. International mail is unpredictable. Note the tracking method. Some vendors provide postal tracking numbers, others use private couriers. If the listing does not specify, ask the vendor before buying. Do not assume standard postal service applies. Clarify customs duties responsibility. Who pays if the package is held? Get it in writing in the chat.
Set up escrow properly
Use the built-in escrow system. Never release payment early. Keep the funds in the 2-of-3 multisig escrow until you receive and inspect the goods. This protects you against chargebacks or fake deliveries. Agree on a dispute resolution plan in advance. Know that disputes take three to seven days to resolve. Have photos ready in case of damage. Take a video unboxing the package immediately upon arrival. Show the seal, the label, and the contents. This evidence is crucial if you need to file a complaint.
Prepare your PGP key
Have your PGP public key ready before ordering. You will need to encrypt your shipping address. Copy the key string into your clipboard. Encrypt the address using a tool like GPG or a browser extension. Send the encrypted block in the order notes or via internal chat. Do not send plaintext addresses if you value privacy. Double-check the recipient's fingerprint. A mismatch means the message went to the wrong person. Accuracy matters here. Mistakes lead to lost packages.
